Designer Sarah Lewis has had a passion for jewelry since she was a small child. Born and raised in upstate New York, her artistic journey began with glasswork. Sarah's passion for working with metals and stones ignited while living in Arizona for a few years, before returning to the east coast to pursue her BFA in Metals & Jewelry from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
She began her career designing accessories for boho-chic brand Free People, before turning her focus to her own business.  In 2010, Sarah launched her jewelry collection and opened Adorn Boutique & Showroom in Philadelphia.  After 5 fabulous years as a retail business, she needed a change, and decided to focus more on jewelry design. She closed her brick & mortar shop and re-branded to TRIBE Jewelry. In 2015 Sarah located to the majestic Redwood Forest of Northern California, where she is now immersed in nature's beauty and finds endless inspiration.
Sarah finds inspiration in her worldly travels, and in the natural materials she uses to craft the collection: stones, crystals, bronze, silver, gold, and leather.  She is inspired by fashion trends, but applies them to her collections in unique ways, staying true to her modern bohemian aesthetic. The jewelry is produced in Sarah's studio in California, and by skilled artisans in India.
Sarah considers TRIBE Jewelry to be a natural expression of herself and her aesthetic beliefs.  She is grateful to be able to work with crystals everyday, and to share her style with the world.  Outside of TRIBE, Sarah is dedicated to her yoga practice, is a proponent of a plant-based diet, and finds peace and inspiration in nature.  She's a feminist and political activist.  She lives for live music, and is grateful for her wonderful friends and family.
