Sustainability & Community Collaboration

Here at Adorn, we strive to practice sustainability in every aspect of running our business, conserving and reusing materials whenever we can. Sarah uses all reclaimed metal in her jewelry and strives to use ethically mined and traded stones. The beautiful wooden facade of Adorn Boutique is made of reclaimed wood from an old factory in Philadelphia. This wood represents Sarah's overall efforts to re-use and re-purpose materials, as well as her connection to nature, and to the city she loves, Philadelphia.  In 2012, we were honored to receive the Philadelphia City-wide Storefront Challenge Award. We were the winner in the Green With Envy category, for our re-claimed wooden storefront.

Running Adorn Boutique and Showroom in Fishtown, Philadelphia enables us to be an active part of our neighborhood's vibrant and growing community of friends, families, and other local businesses. A big proponent of the shop local movement, Sarah is happy to be able to provide a shopping alternative to chain stores and malls for her neighbors, and in turn supports and collaborates with other local businesses as much as she can.

Adorn Boutique is a proud member of the Kensington Community Food Co-op's Shop Local Program, and Amrita Yoga & Wellness' Member Discount Program. We also love to participate in the Frankford Ave. Arts First Friday every month.
